FC Dallas is back at Toyota Stadium for the only home MLS match of August against Western Conference rivals Sporting Kansas City as FCD looks to extend their franchise-record home unbeaten streak to 18 matches. Here are the ten things to know about this one:
1. Saturday's match kicks off at 8:00PM and is presented by Elephant Auto Insurance. They're hosting a back to school bash on Tundra Field #2 right outside the north end of the stadium from 6:00 up until a little before kickoff. 2. As always, arrive early to Toyota Stadium as Elephant is giving the first 5,000 an FCD multi-purpose bag which will make you the coolest kid at the field.
3. Our honorary Lamar Hunt Statue scarfer is our 2016 Community MVP, Chris Alegria! He's being recognized for his work as a volunteer coach for students at Richland Middle School where there is no soccer program. Chris gives tirelessly towards the community spreading love for the beautiful game. Be there at 7:30PM to cheer him on!
