FRISCO, Texas - Kellyn Acosta joined the ESPN FC podcast Max & Herc on Wednesday to discuss a variety of topics related to the homegrown midfielder.
Among the issues discussed was Acosta’s role with the U.S. Men’s National Team.
“I have a lot of room to grow, but I think I’m heading in the right path,” Acosta said. “Hopefully I can continue doing what I’m doing and get future call-ups with Bruce and then excel at the club level as well.”
The podcast’s hosts, Max Bretos and former MLS player Herculez Gomez, also asked Acosta about the unbeaten start in MLS play for FC Dallas.
“Going in, we had big goals,” Acosta said. “Playing CONCACAF Champions League, we were pretty game, ready to go into the season. I thought we were playing at a different level.”
