Adjusting to MLS

Blazing Speed
Barrios is constantly regarded as one of the fastest players in MLS. The Colombian may not be as tall, standing just 5 foot, 2 inches, but he has all the speed you can ask for in a winger.
Commitment
Uniautónoma, Barrios former side, was formed in the Colombian second-division in 2010. Barrios was there the entire way. He played over 10,000 minutes over four years scoring 35 goals. Barrios was along for the ride for Uniautónoma's promotion to the first-division and playing in the club's first year in the top-flight.
Colombian Through and Through
Not only was Barrios along for the wild ride of promotion with Uniautónoma, the club is also based in his hometown. Barrios was born in the seaport city of Barranquilla, Colombia, the same city where "U" plays.
Versatile
While Barrios mostly is at home on the wings, he can also head the attack at forward, and has for Oscar Pareja. In 2017, Barrios initially started on the bench, but was used by Pareja as a super-sub. He's created more than he's scored this season, with six assists and one goal.
