FC Dallas and Chase continued their Five Days of Giving on Thursday with a $10,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas located in old east Dallas.

With so many school districts going to a remote learning environment, the club plans to use the funds to improve the onsite learning centers for students who don’t have wide access to the internet or other vital resources that are so critical to virtual learning success.

Kenya Coleman’s seven-year-old daughter, Kylea, indicated she was looking forward benefitting from the donation.

“This will help me with my reading,” Kenya said with a smile.

“I’m glad we have the learning center because the kids are able to advance their math abilities as well as their reading, writing and science,” said Kenya.

“The Boys and Girls Club is a positive impact on the community because they help a lot of kids not only with academics but with building character as well as leadership.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas opened in November 1965 with the mission of enabling young people, especially those who are most in need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
