FC Dallas players have now earned 27 UnitedHealthcare International Call-ups this season

FRISCO, Texas â€“ FC Dallas players Bryan Acosta (Honduras), Reggie Cannon (United States) and Zdenek Ondrasek (Czech Republic) have been called up to their respective countries during the FIFA international break running from October 7-15.


All FC Dallas players will be depart following the match against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, October 6 at Toyota Stadium. 


Acosta, 25, joins Honduras for a pair of Concacaf Nations League group stage matches against Trinidad and Tobago and Martinique. Los Catrachos travel to Hasely Crawford Stadium to face Trinidad and Tobago on October 10 at 6 PM CT before hosting Martinique at OlĂ­mpico Metropolitano Stadium on October 13 at 9 PM CT. Acosta has two goals in 40 appearances for Honduras, last appearing in an international friendly against Chile on September 11.


Cannon, 21, joins the United States Men’s National Team in preparation for the Nations League group stage matches against Cuba on October 11 (6 PM CT, FS1, UniMás, TUDN) and Canada on October 15 (6:30 PM CT, ESPN2, UniMás, TUDN). The U.S. will host Cuba at Audi Field in the nation’s capital and then travel north to face Canada at BMO Field. Cannon has eight caps for the Stars and Stripes after making his international debut in a friendly against Peru on October 16, 2018.

The Concacaf Nations League will impact qualification for Concacaf Gold Cup and the FIFA rankings, a major component of FIFA World Cup qualifying.


Ondrasek, 30, earns his first call up to the Czech Football Team for the upcoming UEFA EURO Qualifier match against England on October 11 at 1:45 PM CT at Sinobo Stadium and international friendly against Northern Ireland on October 14 at 12 PM CTat Letná Stadium. Ondrasek has three appearances for the Czech Republic U-21 National Team.


FC Dallas (12-12-9) looks to clinch a playoff spot when it hosts Sporting Kansas City (10-15-8) in the 2019 regular season finale on Sunday, October 6 (3 PM CT, Texas 21, FCDTV Network, FCDallas.com/Radio and 1270AM en Español) at Toyota Stadium.
