FC Dallas learned their 2016 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League group stage foes on Monday night in Miami.
FCD managed to avoid the Vancouver Whitecaps, the only MLS team and Costa Rican giants Saprissa, being drawn with Nicaraguan champions Real Esteli FC and Guatemalan champions Club Deportivo Suchitepéquez.
Real Esteli has competed in the last four editions of the CONCACAF Champions League going 0-8-4 in three group stages while being eliminated by TFC in the 2012 preliminary round.
Club Deportivo Suchitepéquez is competing in their first-ever CCL after winning their first Guatemalan league championship in 33 years.
