FRISCO - North Texas SC defender Cesar Murillo was named to USL League One Team of the Week for his performance in the club's week 15 matchup against Greenville Triumph on Sunday, July 7.
Capable of playing in any position along the backline, Murillo lined up at left-back on Sunday night and helped the team earn its sixth clean sheet of the season with a 0-0 draw against Greenville at Toyota Stadium. Murillo contributed by making 33 passes, winning six of his nine duels and creating one goal-scoring chance en route to his first Team of the Week honor.
