FRISCO - A pair of on-loan FC Dallas players squared off in the United Soccer League on Saturday night as Jacori Hayes and Tulsa Roughnecks FC traveled to face Coy Craft and the Oklahoma City Energy.
The match, an Oklahoma derby between the clubs known as the Black Gold Derby, saw Tulsa emerge 2-1 winners on the road.
Both Craft and Hayes started the match for their respective clubs, and each player had efforts on goal in the first half.
Craft was a creative influence for the OKC midfield throughout the match, and was replaced in the 70th minute by Luis Martinez. Hayes played on the right side of the Tulsa midfield and went the distance by playing all 90 minutes of the match.
Prior to their stints in the USL, both Craft and Hayes featured for the FC Dallas first team this season.
Hayes, the first pick of Dallas in this year's MLS SuperDraft, started and played 45 minutes in the 0-0 draw at Sporting Kansas City on March 11th.
Craft hasn't appeared for FC Dallas in MLS play this season, but he started and scored a goal against Tulsa in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round victory on June 14th.
