FRISCO, Texas (May 7, 2024) – FC Dallas advanced to the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 with a 1-0 win over Memphis 901 FC in an Open Cup Round of 32 match Tuesday night at Toyota Stadium.
FARRINGTON'S FIRST OPEN CUP GOAL
FC Dallas rookie Logan Farrington scored his first professional goal tonight in the 73’, etching his name as the 63rd different goalscorer in FC Dallas history during Open Cup matches. Farrington's strike marked the 120th goal for Dallas in the Open Cup. Forward Jesús Ferreira provided the cross to Farrington marking two-straight games that Ferreira has provided an assist.
OPEN CUP RECORD
Following tonight's win, Dallas is now 37-23-6 in the U.S. Open Cup, and holds a 24-7-3 record at home in the tournament. Under Estévez, Dallas is 2-2-0 in Open Cup play.

FC Dallas players Patrickson Delgado, Herbert Endeley, Asier Illarramendi, Petar Musa, Maarten Paes, Logan Farrington, Carl Sainté and Liam Fraser all made their Open Cup debut in Tuesday night’s win.
