FC Dallas Announces 2018 MLS Regular Season Schedule

2018 Schedule Highlights:


  • Expansion side LAFC makes first-ever visit to Toyota Stadium on Saturday, June 2
  • FC Dallas hosts Atlanta United FC on Wednesday, July 4
  • Toyota Stadium hosts the third and final match in the 2018 Battle for El Capitán on Saturday, September 1 against Houston
  • FC Dallas hosts Sporting Kansas City in the 2018 Hall of Fame Opening Weekend


FRISCO – FC Dallas announced its 2018 regular season schedule today, which kicks off at Toyota Stadium against Real Salt Lake on March 3 at 7PM in a match presented by Toyota and wraps up on Decision Day, Sunday, October 28 against the Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. FC Dallas plays its 2018 regular season finale at Toyota Stadium against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday on Sunday, October 21 in the first-ever Hall of Fame weekend matchup.

FC Dallas Announces 2018 MLS Regular Season Schedule -

The 2018 season will mark FCD’s 23rd season in DFW and its 14th playing at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Dallas will play its first four regular season MLS games at home, the longest home stretch of the season. FC Dallas’ first road match comes during the sixth week of the regular season against the New England Revolution on April 14 at Gillette Stadium.

FC Dallas Announces 2018 MLS Regular Season Schedule -

FC Dallas has seven nationally televised games with three on Univision, three on UniMás and one on FS1, which will be August 12 in Seattle. Two of Dallas’ nationally televised games are at Toyota Stadium, the first coming on Saturday, March 24 against Portland on Univision. FCD plays expansion side LAFC for the first time in club history on Saturday, May 5 at Banc of California Stadium in a game that can be seen on Univision. The final Univision broadcast will be Saturday, October 13 against D.C. United at the brand-new Audi Field.  


FC Dallas plays it first game on UniMás against the LA Galaxy on Saturday, May 12 at Toyota Stadium. The remaining UniMás broadcasts are on the road against the New York Red Bulls (Saturday, June 23) and at Houston (Thursday, August 23).

FC Dallas Announces 2018 MLS Regular Season Schedule -

Details regarding FC Dallas’ local television and radio broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.


FC Dallas faces its rival, the Houston Dynamo, twice in 10 days as part of Heineken Rivalry Week which is August 22-26. Following FC Dallas’ August 23 match against the Dynamo in Houston, FCD hosts the Dynamo on Saturday, September 1 at Toyota Stadium in the regular season series finale against between the conference foes. The 2018 Battle for El Capitán begins Saturday, July 21 in Houston.


FC Dallas hosts defending Western Conference champions Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday, March 18 at Toyota Stadium and visits defending MLS Cup champion Toronto FC on Friday, May 25. LAFC visits Toyota Stadium for the first time on Saturday, June 2. Dallas also makes its first visit to the Twin Cities to play Minnesota United on Friday, June 29 at TCF Bank Stadium.

FC Dallas Announces 2018 MLS Regular Season Schedule -

2018 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League

For the third straight season, FC Dallas is competing in Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League play. Dallas will open a two-match aggregate series against Tauro FC in Panama on Wednesday, February 21. Dallas hosts Tauro FC at Toyota Stadium on Wednesday, February 28. Should FC Dallas advance in the SCCL quarterfinals, semifinals or finals, some MLS regular season matches might be affected. That news will be released at a later date, as needed.
