FRISCO – FC Dallas announced its 2019 regular season schedule today, which kicks off at Toyota Stadium against New England Revolution on Saturday, March 2 at 3:30PM in a match presented by Toyota and wraps up at home on Decision Day, Sunday, October 6 against Sporting Kansas City.
The 2019 season will mark FCD’s 24th season in DFW and its 15th playing at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Dallas will have a two-week home stretch before traveling to MAPFRE Stadium to face Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, March 16.
FC Dallas has ten nationally televised games with six on Univision, two on UniMás and one each on ESPN and ESPN2. Four of Dallas’ nationally televised games are at Toyota Stadium, the first coming on Saturday, March 9 against the LA Galaxy on Univision. The final Univision broadcast will be Saturday, September 14 against Chicago Fire at Toyota Park.
FC Dallas plays it first game on UniMás against the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, March 23 at Toyota Stadium. The last UniMás broadcast will be on the road against the Portland Timbers on Sunday, June 30.
Details regarding FC Dallas’ local television and radio broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.
FCD plays expansion side Cincinnati FC for the first time in club history on Saturday, August 31 at Toyota Stadium. The club has an overall record of 8-4-6 against expansion teams in their first encounter.
The 2019 Battle for El Capitán begins on Saturday, May 4 in Houston. FC Dallas hosts Houston Dynamo on Saturday, August 24 at 7PM for the conclusion of the 2019 Texas Derby as part of Heineken Rivalry Week which is August 21-25.
FC Dallas hosts defending Western Conference champions Portland Timbers on Sunday, April 13 at Toyota Stadium and visits defending MLS Cup champion Atlanta United FC on Saturday, April 20. FCD also makes their first trip to Allianz Field on Saturday, July 13 to face Minnesota United FC.
