FRISCO, TX (March 24, 2021) – FC Dallas announced its full 2021 MLS regular season schedule today. Dallas opens its 26th MLS season at home against the Colorado Rapids in a match presented by MTX on Saturday, April 17 at 7PM CT at Toyota Stadium. The home opener will be the latest date FC Dallas has ever opened the MLS regular season, surpassing the 1996 home opener on April 14 against the San Jose Clash at the Cotton Bowl.
FC Dallas faces the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, April 24 in FC Dallas’ first road match of the season. The match will kick off at 2:30PM CT on Univision, TUDN and Twitter.
FC Dallas will be home for the first two weeks of May as it hosts the Portland Timbers on Saturday, May 1 and Texas Derby rival Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, May 8 at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas then travels to Allianz Field to face Minnesota United FC on Saturday, May 15 before returning home to face Real Salt Lake on Saturday, May 22. FC Dallas ends the month of May on the road against the Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, May 29.
FC Dallas will have just three matches in June as MLS will observe the FIFA international window at the beginning of the month.FC Dallas will be home on Saturday, June 19 against Minnesota United FC before traveling to Banc of California Stadium on Wednesday, June 23 to face LAFC. FC Dallas will close out the month against the New England Revolution on Sunday, June 27 at Toyota Stadium.
FC Dallas hosts its annual Independence Day match and fireworks show on Sunday, July 4 against Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Toyota Stadium before heading on the road for three matches. FC Dallas will visit the LA Galaxy (July 7), Portland Timbers (July 17) and Colorado Rapids (July 21). FC Dallas will host the LA Galaxy on Saturday, July 24 at Toyota Stadium and will travel to Children’s Mercy Park to face Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, July 31.
August sees FC Dallas on the road for its first match against Seattle Sounders FC at Lumen Field on Wednesday, August 4. FC Dallas returns home to host three matches at Toyota Stadium: Austin FC (August 7), Sporting Kansas City (August 14) and Seattle Sounders FC (August 18). FC Dallas will then travel to BBVA Stadium for Heineken Rivalry Week to face Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, August 21 in the second match of the Texas Derby. FC Dallas ends the month on the road in its first road match at Q2 Stadium against Austin FC on Saturday, August 29.
Four out of six FC Dallas matches in September are on the road. FC Dallas will travel Rio Tinto Stadium to face Real Salt Lake on September 4. FC Dallas then hosts the San Jose Earthquakes on September 11 at Toyota Stadium. FC Dallas also travels to Yankee Stadium to face New York City on September 14 and will face Houston Dynamo on September 18 in the final Texas Derby match of the season. FC Dallas will face the Vancouver Whitecaps on the road on September 25 and returns home to host Sporting Kansas City at Toyota Stadium on Wednesday, September 29.
FC Dallas kicks off October with the 2021 National Soccer Hall of Fame Induction Weekend match against Minnesota United FC on Saturday, October 2 at 7PM CT at Toyota Stadium. Country Music Hall of Famer and 10-time Grammy award-winner Willie Nelson will perform a postgame concert presented by WinStar World Casino and Resort following the match to conclude the Hall of Fame Weekend festivities. FC Dallas will have a break during the October FIFA international window and resume play at home on Wednesday, October 20 against LAFC. FC Dallas will travel to Dignity Health Sports Park to face the LA Galaxy on Saturday, October 23 and wrap up the month at Toyota Stadium against Real Salt Lake (October 27) and Austin FC (October 30).
Dallas closes the 2021 MLS regular season on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes on Decision Day, Sunday, November 7 at 5PM CT.
2021 Single Game and Season Membership Tickets
Single game tickets for matches in April and May are on sale now with socially distanced seating in place for matches at Toyota Stadium. Capacity for FC Dallas matches will be limited at Toyota Stadium in April and May. Fans interested in purchasing tickets for those matches can go to FCDallasTickets.com. 2021 Schedule Notes
With expansion side Austin FC joining Major League Soccer in 2021, there are now 27 teams in the league with 13 teams in the Western Conference and 14 teams in the Eastern Conference. Austin FC will join the Western Conference, while Nashville SC will stay in the Eastern Conference in 2021.
As a member of the Western Conference, FC Dallas plays eight regionally focused conference opponents three times and four remaining conference opponents twice (32 matches total). FC Dallas will play two Eastern Conference opponents (New England Revolution and New York City FC) in 2021 to complete its 34-match schedule.
FC Dallas has 21 matches on Saturday in 2021, with 11 of those matches at Toyota Stadium. Four matches will be played on Sunday (two at home). FC Dallas will also have nine weekday matchups (one on Tuesday and eight on Wednesday).
Five FC Dallas matches are scheduled to be broadcast on network TV:

2021 Title Partner Nights
New front-of-jersey sponsor, MTX, will kick the season off with FC Dallas’ 26th MLS regular season home opener against the Colorado Rapids on April 17. CoServ will be the title partner for FC Dallas’ annual Independence Day match and fireworks show against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 4 at 7:30PM CT.
FC Dallas’ first 2021 Texas Derby match on May 8 against the Houston Dynamo will be presented by Texas Health Sports Medicine.
