Former players Dante Washington and Eric Dade to provide match commentary
Frisco, TX (May 22, 2020) – FC Dallas continues its series of throwback editions of FCD Rewind broadcasts featuring the Dallas Burn’s 3-2 win over the defending MLS Cup champion Chicago Fire in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The game, which originally aired live on ESPN on October 27, 1999, can be seen on FCDallas.com/OnDemand from 7-9PM CT on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
Former Burn players Eric Dade and Dante Washington will provide second screen commentary during the match on FC Dallas’ Facebook page. Washington played in Dallas from 1996-1999 and currently serves as the Director of Team Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for the Columbus Crew. Dade played for the Burn from 1997-2001 and is now the Executive Director of Coaching for the Western New York Flash Academy.
FCD Rewind Throwback Broadcasts
FC Dallas has produced two previous broadcasts showcasing significant matches in franchise history and featuring club legends providing second screen commentary.
The first match featured the Dallas Burn’s MLS debut (Dallas Burn vs San Jose Clash, 4/14/1996) with the first coach and goalkeeper in club history, Dave Dir and Mark Dodd, respectively, providing commentary.
The second broadcast featured the second match in franchise history (Dallas Burn vs Kansas City Wiz, 4/18/1996). Former Burn legends Jason Kreis, John Kerr Jr. and Ted Eck provided second screen commentary.
