FC Dallas Fan Guide to the International Break

FRISCO, Texas - The international break is almost upon so FC Dallas has a 21-day hiatus from MLS competition but there are still a few games FCD fans will want to keep an eye on. Here's a breakdown of which FCD players will be in action for their respective countries over the next three weeks.

Dallas defender Justin Che (who's currently on loan to Bayern Munich II) is in the senior USMNT squad for the very first time and will take on Switzerland in a friendly on Sunday, May 30 at 1PM CT. The U.S. will also face Bryan Acosta and Honduras on Thursday, June 3 in the Concacaf Nations League. Winger Freddy Vargas also received his first senior call-up and will join Venezuela for its two World Cup Qualifying matches against Bolivia (June 3) and Uruguay (June 8). 

FCD's newest player Szabolcs Schön may also see action for Hungary in its two pre-tournament friendlies ahead of Euro 2020. Hungary faces Cyprus on June 4 and Ireland on June 8. If Schön is named to Hungary's final Euro roster, he could see time in its group stage matches against Portugal (June 15), France (June 19) and Germany (June 23).
