FRISCO, Texas – On October 6th, FC Dallas fans will be attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament in the world – and they need your help.

The current record was established in 2014 in Indianapolis, Ind. with a total number of 2,950 participants. The most recent attempt was made by the University of Mississippi in October 2018, but fell short of setting a new record.


FC Dallas will be hosting a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament to attempt to break the record leading up to the final match of regular season on October 6th, with the final round taking place on the field at halftime. Here's how you can participate:


TIME: The tournament will start at 1:30 p.m., sharp.


ELIGIBILITY: All ticketed guests attending the FC Dallas vs Sporting KC match are eligible to participate. You must be here no later than 1:30 p.m, as stated above, unless you have a group ticket (see below).


WHERE: On the SE side of Toyota Stadium, south of the Sienna Blue Lot, but north of Main Street, near the FC Dallas Foundation/ STEAM FC mini pitch.
