Frisco, Texas (December 21, 2023) – Alan ‘AlanAvi’ Avila returns for his sixth season (2018-19, 2021-present) as FC Dallas’ eMLS player for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Avila will represent FC Dallas amongst the EA Sports FIFA Global Series (FGS) competitions.
Avila was part of the FC Dallas youth system from 2010-14 where he rose through the ranks prior to leaving to compete collegiately at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Now behind the sticks, the homegrown will look to obtain the clubs first-ever eMLS trophy in the coming years.
The Midland, Texas native was the first eMLS player for FC Dallas as he first signed with the club in 2018. He will also continue to represent the Frisco-based esports organization Complexity Gaming – one of the longest standing and most successful esports organizations in North America.
In 2023, Alan finished in 11th place in the eMLS standings, finishing with a record of 12-10-3. In previous years, Avila appeared in the 2019 and 2021 eMLS Cup, was a 2021 eMLS All-Star, as well as being part of the 2019 eChampions League Finals, and FIFA 18 Global Series in Amsterdam.
eMLS is the highest-level North American eSports league, with players representing clubs from across MLS competing in the League Series One, League Series Two and eMLS Cup tournaments.
