FRISCO, Texas (April 2, 2014) – FC Dallas has loaned midfielder Brian “Cobi” Span to Orlando City SC, the club announced today.
FC Dallas acquired the midfielder in a weighted lottery conducted by Major League Soccer on Jan. 9, 2014. The 22-year-old spent the past two seasons with Swedish first-division side Djurgårdens IF, where he made 14 appearances and scored one goal.
The loan is effective for the entire 2014 season, however FC Dallas has the right to recall Span at any time from the USL Pro side.
