FRISCO – It's no surprise that two FC Dallas players were named among MLS' best in Week 33 with Mauro Diaz and Roland Lamah making Team of the Week honors.
After LA took an early lead in the 2nd minute, Roland Lamah scored the equalizer against the Galaxy, his 10th goal of the season. And in the 49th minute, Lamah put FC Dallas up 3-1 on a corner kick taken by Mauro Diaz to start the second half, giving FCD a two-goal advantage.
Meanwhile, Diaz earned his second assist of the match in the 68th minute after he found Michael Barrios, giving FC Dallas a commanding 4-1 lead. Diaz added a goal to his two-assist performance on a penalty kick in the 74th minute. After LA Galaxy's Clement Diop was shown a red card and backup goalkeeper Brian Rowe stepped in, the Argentine fired a right-footed blast into the corner of the goal to make it a 5-1 game.
