FRISCO, Texas (Feb. 15, 2022)Â - FC Dallas midfielder Nicky Hernandez underwent bilateral leg fasciotomy on Wednesday, February 9. Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Specialist Dr. Keith Heier performed the procedure at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics and Surgery in Plano. Anticipated recovery time is approximately four weeks.
Hernandez, 23, signed with FC Dallas in March 2021 after being selected 15th overall by the club in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. He accumulated six goals and five assists in 32 appearances for FC Dallas’ affiliate club North Texas SC.
