FC Dallas players receive 2016 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup rings -

It’s hard to find bling that’s better than a championship ring. That’s what FC Dallas players, coaches and staff received Friday night at the team’s annual Cocktails and Cleats gala presented by Chase.

In addition to unveiling the secondary jersey players will wear this season, the team also received rings commemorating winning the 2016 U.S. Open Cup. Just like the new Texas-themed jersey, the rings are full of symbolism.

The top of the ring features the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy as well as 60 diamonds which represent the 60 points FC Dallas earned en route to winning the Supporters Shield in 2016.

One side of the ring has the ringbearer’s name with the FC Dallas crest. The other side showcases the Supporters’ Shield along with FC Dallas’ record in 2016, 17-8-9.

Players who received their rings on Friday couldn’t help but share them on social media.

The ring features 60 grams of 10 karat gold and has 1.1 carats of brilliant round diamonds.
