Over the weekend, FC Dallas' youth academy continued it's impressive run in the USSDA playoffs with a 6-0-0 combined record between the U-16 and U-18 teams.
Not only were the teams dominant, but they won using some spectacular shots.
Friday afternoon, Jommar Reyes connected on a header to give his U-16 team the early lead.

FC Dallas' very next goal was perhaps the best of the weekend as Aldo Quevedo used a perfectly-placed bicycle kick to make it 2-0.

Later that evening, FC Dallas continued to finish in fine form through the boot of Paxton Pomykal in the U18's match.
Sunday afternoon, Reyes got the U-16s off to a hot start with a goal directly from a free kick.

Jesus Ferreira and Bryan Reynolds each added a goal to give the U-16s a 3-1 win and complete a perfect 3-0-0 weekend that including the team outscoring its opponents 10-1.
For the U-18s, the team didn't complete it's own perfect weekend without a bit of flair.
In Sunday evening's game against Orlando City SC, Brandon Terwege opened the scoring when he capitalized on a bobbled ball by the Orlando City goal keeper.

After an Orlando City own goal, Giovanni Montesdeoca used a spectacular half-volley to make it 3-0.
Following that goal, Devin Vega went for goal off a free kick and spectacularly beat the goal keeper to the near post.
In total, the FC Dallas academy system went 10-1-1 across all competitions, outscoring opponents 32-7. Between the two playoff teams, the U-16s and U-18s combined to outscore their opponents 22-3 in six total games.
