The FC Dallas Player Development system continues to provide college programs around the country with players that have refined their skills through the FC Dallas Youth program. Our new bi-weekly series will keep track of a select number of former FCDY players and monitor their progress through the college soccer ranks.

Baylor University – Natalie Huggins (Freshman, Forward), Catie McGowan (Senior, Goalkeeper)
The Baylor Bears have improved their overall record to 9-2-2, but are only 1-1-1 in Big 12 conference play. A 1-0 win over the University of Texas provided their only conference win so far this season. Freshman Natalie Huggins continues to make plays for the Bears, scoring five goals and tallying three assists this year. Catie McGowan has not yet seen time in the net this year, playing behind senior Courtney Seelhorst.
Furman University – Holly Reilly (Freshman, Goalkeeper)
The Paladins (7-5-1) have played two consecutive double overtime games, winning one and taking a loss in the other. Freshman goalkeeper Holly Reilly has played in two games, preserving leads in both while making three saves.
Hardin Simmons University – Eliza Keegan (Freshman, Forward)
Since our previous update, Hardin Simmons has won five consecutive games, outscoring their opponents 41-1. Freshman forward Eliza Keegan has seen time in nine games this year, efficiently scoring three goals on just six shots. Keegan scored a goal in HSU’s most recent win, a 13-1 rout of McMurry.
Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne – Jacob Gerondale (RS Freshman, Defender)
The Mastadons (5-6-1) opened Summit League play with a 3-1 win at Oral Roberts on September 30. Jacob Gerondale has played in 10 of 12 games this season, but has not yet recorded a point.
Iowa State University – Lindsay Frank (Freshman, Defender), Catherine Reese (Freshman, Midfielder)
The Iowa State Cyclones have started the year 6-5-1 but have not yet won a Big 12 game, going 0-2 so far against Texas A&M and Texas. Freshman defender Lindsay Frank has played in 11 games this season and midfielder Catherine Reese has seen time in three games.
McNeese State University – Tori Lasiter (Freshman, Midfielder), Haley Lyons (Freshman, Midfielder/Forward), Krista Steinbeiser (Freshman, Midfielder), Jordan Leinweaver (Junior, Defender), Megan Rogers (Junior, Midfielder/Defender), Jordan Grimes (Freshman, Midfielder)
The McNeese State Cowgirls have started the year 5-6, dropping their first Southland Conference match against Lamar 1-0. Freshman midfielder Tori Lasiter has appeared in nine games this year, scoring one goal. Midfielder Haley Lyons has also scored a goal, and has added two assists and seen time in 11 games. Freshmen Krista Steinbeiser and Jordan Grimes have appeared in six and one game, respectively. Juniors Jordan Leinweaver (two appearances) and Megan Rogers (11 appearances) have also yet to record any points.
Midwestern State University – Salomon Moctezuma (Freshman, Goalkeeper)
The MSU Mustangs (7-1) have lost their only Lone Star Conference match so far to Incarnate Word 1-0. MSU is tied for third in the conference and have not yet recorded a point. Freshman goalkeeper Salomon Moctezuma has not yet seen any action this season.
Old Dominion University – Skylar Hagan (Freshman, Midfielder)
No. 20 Old Dominion has stayed in the national ranking while compiling a 5-2 record this season. ODU lost a midweek match against No. 4 North Carolina 3-0. Freshman midfielder Skylar Hagan has registered a goal and an assist this year while playing in six games.
Otero Junior College – Kevin Pineda (Freshman, Defender)
Otero Junior College has run out to a 7-2-2 record, beating Kansas Wesleyan, Western Wyoming and Dodge City. Otero Junior College is ranked No. 7 (NJCAA) after becoming the first Junior/Community College in Colorado to offer a varsity level soccer program.
Southern Methodist University – Chris Figueroa (Sophomore, Midfielder), Jaime Ibarra (Sophomore, Goalkeeper)
SMU has dropped out of the top 25 but are still receiving votes and could climb back into the national rankings. SMU traveled to UCLA to knock off the No. 18 Bruins and followed that with a 4-2 home loss against No. 14 UCF. Goalkeeper Jaime Ibarra has allowed just over one goal per game while starting the year 5-2. Midfielder Chris Figueroa has not yet seen time on the field this year.
University of Arkansas – Allie Tripp (Freshman, Forward)
The Arkansas Razorbacks have compiled a 4-7-0 record so far this year, winning a game against SMU and dropping a match against No. 10 Tennessee. Freshman forward Allie Tripp has appeared in eight matches, recording 190 minutes. She has one assist and has taken two shots on target this season.
University of Indiana – Jack Coleman (Freshman, Midfielder)
No. 6 Indiana (6-1-2) beat No. 19 Penn State 1-0 over the weekend before taking a 2-0 loss at Wisconsin. Freshman midfielder Jack Coleman has appeared in one game this year, helping the Hoosiers beat Dayton 6-0 early in the season.
University of Maryland – London Woodberry (Junior, Defender/Midfielder)
The No. 3 ranked Terps sport a 10-0-1 record and have received 3 first place votes. Maryland beat No. 12 Charlotte 3-1 and followed that up with a 1-0 win over No. 2 Creighton. Defender London Woodberry has started all 11 games this year, helping keep Maryland undefeated. The defender has played the most minutes on the team (1016) and has an assist this season.
University of Memphis – Sam Watson (Freshman, Defender)
The No. 6 Memphis Tigers have started the season 12-0-0, allowing only five goals through 12 matches. Freshman defender Sam Watson has played six minutes off the bench for the Tigers this year.
University of North Carolina – Boyd Okwuonu (Freshman, Defender)
The No. 5 ranked Tar Heels (8-1-1) knocked off then-No. 1 ranked Louisville to claim the top spot in the coaches’ poll before losing it to Maryland and Connecticut. Freshman defender Boyd Okwuonu has started all ten games for UNC this year, collecting an assist against Louisville.
University of North Texas – Michelle Young (Junior, Forward)
The North Texas Mean Green have started the year 9-3-1 with the help of junior forward Michelle Young. Young has started all 13 matches this year, recording nine goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Young registered a hat trick on August 26 in a 5-0 win over Texas Southern.
University of South Carolina – Bradlee Baladez (Sophomore, Midfielder/Forward)
The Gamecocks have started the year 4-4-1, with a victory against No. 12 ranked Charlotte. Sophomore midfielder/forward Bradlee Baladez scored in a 3-2 loss against the College of Charleston. Baladez leads the team in shots taken with 25 and has connected on three for goals. USC beat Tulsa over the weekend to move to 2-0-0 in conference play.
