FRISCO, Texas – Saturday night was definitely one for the history books.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, a familiar face in the stands this season, was the ceremonial scarfer of the Lamar Hunt statue and gathered to a huge crowd on the concourse of Toyota Stadium.
It was also Social Media Night at the stadium. We had takeovers of Snapchat and Instagram stories by the FC Dallas Girls and Walker Zimmerman (respectively). Plus, social media themed photo ops throughout the concourse, Tex Hoooper emoji fans, emoji themed match day posters and graphics on the videoboard. This paired with the historic night of a hat-trick, the 1,000th goal in club history, and Jesus Ferreira's debut (and goal), it's no wonder that you, the fans, got #FCDSocial and #FCDvRSL trending on Twitter.
