FC Dallas players have earned 25 MoneyGram International Call-ups in 2017
FRISCO - FC Dallas' Kellyn Acosta (U.S.), Matt Hedges (U.S.), Carlos Gruezo (Ecuador), Maynor Figueroa (Honduras) and Tesho Akindele (Canada) have all been called in by their respective national teams for the current FIFA International Date running August 28 through September 5.
Dallas players have now earned 25 MoneyGram International Call-ups so far this season.
Acosta and Hedges will travel to Red Bull Arena, where the U.S. will face Costa Rica in a FIFA 2018 World Cup Qualifying match on Friday, Sept. 1. The U.S. will then travel to Estadio Olimpico in San Pedro Sula, Honduras to battle FC Dallas teammate, Maynor Figueroa on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Prior to hosting the U.S., Figueroa and Honduras open this international window against Trinidad and Tobago on Sept. 1.
Akindele is looking to return to action with the Canadian National Team in a friendly against Jamaica at BMO Field on Saturday, Sept. 2.
Currently in sixth place of CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup Qualifying table, Ecuador and FC Dallas’ Calros Gruezo travel to Porto Alegre to face the first-place Brazilians on Thursday, August 31.
