FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas’ Raul Fernandez (Peru), Je-Vaughn Watson (Jamaica), Kellyn Acosta (U.S. U-20 National Team) and Jesse Gonzalez (Mexican U-20 National Team) have all been called in to represent their respective nations during the upcoming FIFA International dates.
Fernandez, 29, will first travel to Luque, Paraguay, for the first of two friendlies against the Paraguayan National Team on Nov. 14. Peru’s second match against Paraguay will be played in Lima, Peru, on Nov. 18.
Watson, 31, will join Jamaica for the 2014 Caribbean Cup in Montego Bay, Jamaica, which runs Nov. 11 through Nov. 15. Jamaica faces Martinique (Nov. 12), Haiti (Nov. 14) and Antigua and Barbuda (Nov. 16).
Acosta, 19, will join the U.S. U-20 National Team for a trip to Marbella, Spain, from Nov. 10 to Nov. 19, where the team will play three international matches. The USA will face Russia’s U-20 national team on Nov. 12, the Republic of Ireland’s U-21 national team on Nov. 15 and Canada’s U-20s on Nov. 18. The trip is in preparation for the CONCACAF U-20 Championships, which run from Jan. 9 to Jan. 24 in Jamaica.
Also preparing for the CONCACAF U-20 Championships, Gonzalez, 19, will join the Mexican U-20 National Team in Mexico City, Mexico, from Nov. 9 through Nov. 17.
