FRISCO, Texas (September 12, 2022) – FC Dallas Homegrown Jesús Ferreira has been MLSsoccer.com’s Team of the Week for Week 30 after scoring two goals in FC Dallas’ comeback win vs. LAFC on Saturday, September 10 at Toyota Stadium. This is Ferreira’s fifth Team of the Week appearance this season and 12th overall since 2019.
Ferreira, 21, scored his 17th and 18th goals of the season to tie FC Dallas’ single-season scoring record of 18 held by Jason Kreis (1999) and Kenny Cooper (2008). He is also now tied for third in FC Dallas’ all-time scoring record with 36 goals in 111 games.
This is the 14th time in 2022 a member of FC Dallas has earned MLS Team of the Week honors.
