FRISCO, Texas - The October international break is upon us and FC Dallas’ Ricardo Pepi (USA), Szabolcs Schön (Hungary) and Bryan Acosta (Honduras) will be taking part in World Cup qualifying for their respective nations.
The US and Honduras are joined by six other countries in this final round of Concacaf World Cup qualifying where the top three finishers will automatically qualify for next year's tournament. The nation that finishes fourth will have a chance to qualify via a two-game playoff against a country from a different confederation (continent). Concacaf World Cup Qualifying Rules
Hungary is currently in fourth place in Group I that also includes England, Albania, Poland, Andorra and San Marino. The first place finisher automatically qualifies for the 2022 World Cup and the group runner up advances to the second round of qualifying.
