INJURY REPORT: FC Dallas at Real Salt Lake | 5.6.17

Injury report RSL Beckerman

The injury reports ahead of #RSLvFCD are vastly different as FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake get set to square off on Saturday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Real Salt Lake

OUT: Chad Barrett (knee surgery), David Horst (knee surgery)

QUESTIONABLE: Jordan Allen (right quad strain), Justen Glad (knee injury), Tony Beltran (back injury), Nick Rimando (hamstring injury), Kyle Beckerman (calf strain).

PROBABLE: Aaron Maund (left hamstring strain).

For RSL, it’s a lengthy line in the training room. The defensive face is particularly impacted with David Horst out and Chris Schuler suspended this weekend, while Tony Beltran is questionable and Aaron Maund is probable after playing 60 minutes for the Real Monarchs (USL) last week.

Goalkeeper Nick Rimando also could miss a second straight start after leaving Salt Lake’s game against Atlanta early two weeks ago. Another veteran, Kyle Beckerman, also missed last week’s match and is questionable this weekend vs. Dallas.

FC Dallas

OUT: Mauro Diaz (Achilles' tendon), Paxton Pomykal (ankle strain).

After a brief stint on the injury report, Chris Seitz returned to the 18-man roster for FC Dallas last weekend against Portland. Paxton Pomykal has been ruled out of this weekend's match with an ankle strain, but is not expected to be out long-term.

Mauro Diaz remains on the list - although the Magician was spotted briefly playing in a short-sided game at the team’s training before departing for Utah. Diaz continues to work his way back from a torn Achilles’ tendon that ended his 2016 season in mid-October.
