FRISCO — FC Dallas adds two players to this week's injury report while Sporting Kansas City have plenty of its own out for Saturday's Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 matchup.
Sporting KC
OUT: Felipe Gutierrez (sports hernia surgery), Jimmy Medranda (knee injury), Seth Sinovic (hamstring injury), Matt Besler (hamstring injury), Gianluca Busio (hamstring injury), Cristian Lobato (knee injury)
Questionable: Khiry Shelton (thigh injury), Yohan Croizet (hamstring injury), Brad Evans (thigh injury)
There aren't many new faces on the injury report for Sporting KC, but its man at the back, Matt Besler, will not be fit enough to face FCD. Besler has started in 14 of Sporting's 15 games this season and has been one of the main reasons for his team's seven shutouts in 2018.
FC Dallas
OUT: Kris Reaves (sports hernia), Anton Nedyalkov (broken collarbone), Cristian Colman (ankle injury)
Two players are added to this week's injury report for FCD. Colman will be sidelined while he recovers from an ankle injury he suffered. Reaves is still recovering from sports hernia surgery, and Nedyalkov will be out a few more weeks from a broken collarbone.
