Chula Vista, CA. — Preseason is fully underway, and FC Dallas' first travel stint is in Chula Vista, California, where the team will stay for a week. Los Toros will stay at the Chula Vista Athletic Training Center — a 155-acre campus for Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Throughout the week, Michael Ramirez of FCD Digital and Social will give updates on everything going on with the team and its players.
Day Four
Today was a lighter day as it was the day after the scrimmage against the San Diego Loyal. All the players who participated in the game went through recovery protocol and kept things easy throughout Monday. The day started with some runnings and regeneration, and treatment followed shortly after. Saturday's starters hit the weight room in the morning, and trained in the afternoon.
Training consisted of Saturday's starters along with Thiago Santos — Reggie Cannon, Jesus Ferreira and Brandon Servania were all rested today after participating in the 1-0 U.S. Men's National Team victory Saturday afternoon.

Those who rested sat on the sidelines to watch training while the ones who were participating worked on rondos, possession and progression up the field. The vibe around the group was very upbeat and light-hearted. You could tell the guys loved getting the USMNT trio back, and the feeling was mutual with those guys as well.
Jesus Ferreira expressed his excitement coming back from making his national team debut, just days after committing his international future with the United States. Servania's emotions were similar to Ferreira's, and both expressed how different it felt to join the team in the middle of a preseason trip rather than being there the entire time like in previous years.
Tomorrow will consist of two-a-day training sessions in the morning and evening ahead of the final preseason scrimmage here in California on Thursday when FC Dallas takes on LAFC.
