FRISCO – Tuesday and Wednesday's Lamar Hunt US Open Cup semifinals will be aired on ESPN2, marking the second time FC Dallas has been featured on ESPN networks this season, the first time since June 19th.
It is the second year in a row in which ESPN will feature Open Cup action after holding the broadcast rights to the 2015 final between Sporting Kansas City and Philadelphia Union. The Open Cup first appeared on ESPN in 1999 before taking a 15-year hiatus from the network.
As FC Dallas prepares to take on LA Galaxy, all the action can be seen on ESPN2 or the WatchESPN app at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Should FCD win and New England Revolution beat Chicago Fire, FC Dallas would host the Lamar Hunt Open Cup Final at Toyota Stadium on September 21.
