Switch It Up

After starting with a three-man back line last week in New York, Dallas returns to the 4-3-3 look we’ve seen over the last month of play. Michael Barrios returns to the starting lineup, as does Victor Ulloa who will make his 96th start all-time. Maynor Figueroa moves back out to a left back role along the back.

Also, for the second time in club history, Dallas will start five Homegrowns in an MLS match.

Fresh Faces

Tonight will see the first MLS start of 2018 for not one Homegrown and the first ever for another. Paxton Pomykal, who has appeared twice this year and made one Open Cup start, will line up on the left side of the field in his second straight appearance for FCD. Kris Reaves, signed in the offseason out of the University of Portland, will make his professional debut in the middle of the Dallas back line alongside Matt Hedges with Reto Ziegler suspended.

The Century Mark

Available off the bench for tonight’s match, should Ryan Hollingshead see the field in #MINvFCD, he’d make his 100th MLS appearance for Dallas. Only six other players on the roster have hit the century mark in appearances.
