LINEUP NOTES: FC Dallas at San Jose Earthquakes | 4.14.17 -

SAN JOSE, Calif. - It's a late one tonight in the Bay Area as FC Dallas takes on the San Jose Earthquakes at 10 p.m. CT (UniMás, Facebook Live - Univision Deportes page). With just under an hour til kick, let's take a look at the FCD Starting XI.

Back to the 4-4-2

Last week with a different look lineup, Oscar Pareja moved to a 4-2-3-1 formation as Javier Morales made his first MLS start with FCD. Tonight, it's back to the 4-4-2 with dual threats Maxi Urruti and Cristian Colman up top. Urruti leads Dallas with three goals on the year and last time he was in San Jose, he scored the lone, bicycle kick goal in a 1-0 win. FCD has gone with a 4-4-2 look now six times in nine matches across all competitions.

Maynor Returns, Harris to Right Back

After serving a one-game Disciplinary Committee suspension, Maynor Figueroa returns to the FCD lineup at left back and Atiba Harris, who filled in on the left in his absence will move back over to the right side for his third MLS start of the season. Hernan Grana did not make the trip to San Jose for precautionary measures with a slight knock.

Jesse Goes for Three

Homegrown goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez will get his second straight start after a five-save clean sheet over Minnesota last weekend. Through two starts this season, Gonzalez has not allowed a goal while making seven saves in 180 minutes of action. He'll look to go a perfect 3-for-3 on shutouts against the Quakes.
