FRISCO - FC Dallas will wrap up their third game in a 10-game span tonight as the Houston Dynamo visit for the final leg of the 2018 Texas Derby. Let's dive into Oscar Pareja's Starting XI, tasked with bringing El Capitán home.
RETURNS IN THE BACK
Jesse Gonzalez and Reto Ziegler will make their respective returns to the FCD lineup tonight after three matches away. Gonzalez has been left off the 18 by coach's decision since a 2-1 loss in Seattle in mid-August. Ziegler has missed the same amount of time, serving a one-game suspension after the Seattle match and then missing the last two matches while recovering from a knock in training.
Carlos Gruezo also returns after a one-match suspension for yellow-card accumulation.
MOSQUERA MOMENTUM
Fresh off a second half on Wednesday where he scored a goal and registered three shots, Santiago Mosquera will make his first start since Leg One of the Texas Derby on July 21. In that match, the winger re-injured a hamstring injury and missed four weeks of action.
ABEL TO PLAY
New-signing Abel Aguilar has received his P-1 Visa and ITC and is eligible to play beginning in tonight's match. The Colombian midfielder last appeared in his country's 2018 World Cup opener in June and signed with FCD on Monday. He's available off the bench tonight and could make his Dallas debut in the Derby.
