FRISCO - It all comes down to Decision Day 2017, presented by AT&T. FC Dallas needs a win and some help to make the postseason for the fourth consecutive season under Oscar Pareja. Let's dive into the head coach's Starting XI looking to do just that.
Back to the Norm
After resting Maxi Urruti and Roland Lamah last week and starting Michael Barrios at the top of the formation, it's back to the usual attacking face for FCD this afternoon with Urruti spearheading the offense up top with Lamah and Barrios on his flanks and Mauro Diaz pulling the strings in the middle. Dallas has three draws and a win in their last four matches with these same four starting up front.
Kellyn and Carlos
For the first time in over a month, Kellyn Acosta and Carlos Gruezo will pair together in the defensive midfield for Dallas. The usual duo in the middle have been split due to injury, international duty and the emergence of Javier Morales as a dual threat in the midfield, starting each of the last four games.
Back Four Shuffle
Maynor Figueroa will shift into the middle for the 11th time this season alongside Matt Hedges as Ryan Hollingshead starts once again on the left side of the defense for the 9th time in 2017. Hernan Grana will finish the regular season as the most consistent starter in the back with his 30th start of the season, second to Maxi Urruti's 31 starts for the entire roster.
