Magic Back

After sitting Mauro Diaz last weekend for precautionary reasons, the Magician returns to the lineup for FCD with the standard mix of Roland Lamah, Michael Barrios and Maxi Urruti around him. Cristian Colman coming off his first two MLS goals doesn’t get the start, but will likely come on late against a fatigued Whitecaps side looking to keep his account rolling.

Watch the Wings

With Maynor Figueroa and Hernan Grana confined to the stands tonight with yellow car accumulation suspensions, Ryan Hollingshead and Atiba Harris will start on the flanks of the back line for Dallas. Matt Hedges and Walker Zimmerman will be paired in the middle for just the second time since May 20 (the lone start in that time coming in an injury-shortened 24 minutes for Zimmerman vs. Houston).

Hint of Gold

Coming off of their time with the U.S. Men’s National Team at Gold Cup, Matt Hedges and Jesse Gonzalez return to the lineup for Dallas for the first time in nearly a month. After playing 55 minutes on Wednesday night in the Final, Kellyn Acosta will get a partial rest tonight, starting on the bench with Victor Ulloa playing strongly in the midfield in his absence.
