FRISCO, Texas - Head coach Marco Ferruzzi makes two changes to his lineup as FC Dallas takes on Real Salt Lake tonight, Oct. 27 at 7PM at Toyota Stadium. Here's the lineup notes, presented by UnitedHealthcare.
Schön
The most notable change to the Starting XI is the inclusion of Szabolcs Schön at left wing in place of Paxton Pomykal who moves to the subs bench. Schön hasn't started since FCD's 5-3 win over Austin FC on Aug. 30 but has featured as a sub in eight of the nine games since. The Hungarian has yet to score for Dallas but has registered six assists in his 21 appearances, second most behind Jesús Ferreira's eight.
Che
Justin Che gets the nod at right back tonight as typical starter Ema Twumasi is unavailable due to yellow card accumulation. It's Che's 12th start of the season (and 14th appearance overall) but his first in four games. Still just 17 years old, Che has two assists on the year and was recently named to MLS's 22 Under 22 annual ranking of the best young players in the league.
Jara
Franco Jara gets his third start in a row and will lead FCD's front line as the center forward. The 33-year-old is in strong form having registered two goals and an assist since taking over the starting role from Ricardo Pepi who's been healing from a foot injury suffered on international duty.
