NEW-LOOK BACK LINE

Dallas will start the second meeting of the week with LAFC with a similar look it finished the first leg with as Ryan Hollingshead stays on the wing and Reto Ziegler makes his first start at left back since joining FCD. The 33 year old played the majority of his career on the left side until moving interior just a few years ago with FC Luzern in Switzerland. Meanwhile, Bressan will get his second straight start, slotting alongside Matt Hedges in the middle with Reggie Cannon on the right side of the back four.

BADJI RETURNS

After leaving the match against New York last weekend in the opening half hour and Thursday's game in LA with a hip pointer injury, Dominique Badji returns to the lineup on the right wing in the absence of Michael Barrios with Jesus Ferreira returning to his starting role up top. The duo found success in the preseason with Badji on the right side of the Homegrown striker, and will look to cure FCD's scoring woes with just two goals in the last four matches.

MIDFIELD BATTLE

Part of Dallas' success in the second half on Thursday night was the strong finish to the match by Jacori Hayes, who led the game with six tackles, and Bryan Acosta. Pablo Aranguiz returns to the starting lineup for the third time in the last four games in the No. 10 role. The trio will look to control LAFC's dominating midfield, which has eight assists on the team's last 10 goals.
