FRISCO, Texas – Nearly ten days after FC Dallas announced the signing of Venezuelan midfielder Luis Gonzalez, he and his family arrived at DFW Airport in the middle of the night on Friday (or Saturday morning, depending on how you look at it).
While his Instagram account is private, we wanted to share this screen grab, where Luis expresses his gratitude and how he's looking forward to this next chapter with his family:
In case your Spanish skills are a little rusty, this roughly translates to "Together for a dream. Thanks to Him."
Gonzalez also stopped by Toyota Stadium on Saturday afternoon to undergo his medical test and will participate in training with the team soon.
