FRISCO, Texas — For the first time in two years, FC Dallas will have multiple representatives at the All-Star Game. FC Dallas defender Matt Hedges and midfielder Paxton Pomykal were selected within the 26 that will head off to Orlando on August 1.
Hedges was a Coach's Pick for FC Dallas this season, and this is the third time he's been selected to the All-Star Game. The FC Dallas center back has started 16 games this season with nine total clean sheets.
Pomykal was one of two Commissioner's Picks this season, and this is his very first All-Star Game selection. The midfielder has had a breakout campaign thus far, and he's been a key piece to the center of FCD's formation. Pomykal represented FC Dallas at the U-20 World Cup in Poland, and he captained the side for four out of the five matches played.
