FRISCO - After five years in Dallas, it's not easy to pick Maxi Urruti's best moments and biggest goals, but here's a look at our top five:
5. May 12, 2018 - Taming the Lion
LA Galaxy were the talk of the league for signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but when the team came to Dallas they were no match for FC Dallas' attack. On an assist from Diaz, Urruti launched a rocket to find the back of the net. FC Dallas won 3-2, and sent the Galaxy home with their fourth straight loss. Zlatan, meet Maxi.
4. April 29, 2017 - Last Unbeaten Team in the League
FC Dallas remained the last unbeaten team in the league up until that point, with a record of 4-0-3 the team hosted the Portland Timbers in a game that ended in a draw. Urruti was able to find the back of the net and scored his fourth goal of the season in response to the Timbers opening goal. Each goal by the Timbers was met with a response from FC Dallas. The team remained unbeaten thanks to goals by Urruti and Hernan Grana.
3. February 28, 2018 - SCCL Battle
FC Dallas faced off against Tauro FC in the Concacaf Champions League Quarterfinals. After Dallas lost 1-0 in the first leg, Urruti opened up scoring in the 31st minute of Leg Two.
2. September 13, 2016 - Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup Victory
For the second time in team history, the club was able to lift the Lamar Hunt U.S Open Cup. Urruti struck twice in the Final, but it was his first that started the comeback party.
1. July 8, 2016 - Bicycle Kick Heard Around the World
Urruti scored the lone goal against the San Jose Earthquakes in pure Maxi Fashion. This flawless finish is why this goal is his number one goal in his time at FC Dallas.
