FRISCO - FC Dallas is making up for two weekends off from MLS play by dominating the MLS Team of the Week for Week 6. Michael Barrios and Jesse Gonzalez were both named to the league's weekly Best XI, and head coach Oscar Pareja was selected as the Coach of the Week as well.
Barrios scored his first goal of the season and added an assist on Javier Morales' first-half strike in the 2-0 win over Minnesota United FC. The winger also had four shots, two on target, along with two chances created in arguably his best performance of the season.
Gonzalez made five saves, all of which coming in the second half, en route to his second shutout of the season. His five stops are a single-game team best for 2017, surpassing he and Chris Seitz's shared mark of two saves in a game.
Atiba Harris was named to the TOTW bench after a five-tackle performance against the Loons, one off the highest individual mark for the week.
