FRISCO — Michael Barrios was named to the MLS Team of the Week for Week 22, while Matt Hedges was named to the bench following their performances against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday.
Barrios scored his first goal of the 2018 season early on Saturday night and added two more goals to his account before the night was over, bagging his first career hat trick en route to a 3-2 FC Dallas win.
Hedges was crucial to Dallas' success Saturday and had two crucial blocks in front of FCD's net in the 40th and 42nd minute. Hedges had nine total clearances in the match, and he completed 17 successful passes as well.
