FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas attacker Michael Barrios and midfielder Paxton Pomykal were named to MLS' Team of the Week following their performances against Minnesota United FC. Along with the duo, FC Dallas head coach Luchi Gonzalez was also named Coach of the Week after the 5-3 victory at home.
Barrios ran rampant down the wings, and Pomykal was the catalyst in the midfield for FC Dallas — both had three assists Saturday night, tying a franchise record.
The five goals scored against Minnesota were the most since October 22, 2017 en route to a bounce-back win — crucial for the ensuing playoff race in the Western Conference.
