FC Dallas President Dan Hunt broke the news today that Academy Director Luchi Gonzalez has signed a three-year contract extension.
A former MAC Hermann Trophy winner at SMU, Luchi was promoted to Academy Director in October 2015 and has coached the U-16s to two-straight USSDA National Championships.
Just since September, FC Dallas has signed four Homegrown players from those national championship teams: Paxton Pomykal, Jesus Ferreira, Bryan Reynolds and Reggie Cannon.
Luchi will continue to oversee the FC Dallas Academy program widely considered to be the best in the country.
