North Texas SC Signs Defender Devin Benton

Frisco, Texas (Aug. 27, 2021) - North Texas SC has signed defender Devin Benton, pending league and U.S. Soccer Federation approval.

Benton, 21, joins the club for the remainder of the 2021 season with a club option for the 2022 season.

Born in Birmingham, Ala., Benton spent time in the Atlanta United and Houston Dynamo FC academies before playing collegiate soccer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Benton made 24 games over two seasons for the Blazers, including 17 starts.
