FRISCO - FC Dallas will have two players represented for the MLS Homegrown Team as they take on Tigres UANL U-20 in Atlanta at 7PM CT on Tuesday (Twitter/Univision Deportes).
Paxton Pomykal and Jesus Ferreira will both suit up for the Homegrown team for the second consecutive season. The game is designed to showcase the growth of the league’s youth development system. FCD is one of five teams in the league to have more than one player on the roster.
"It's awesome to be a part of this, but then again it's good because it shows you what we have for the upcoming years at the national team" Pomykal said.
Pomykal and Ferreira both came in after the 60th minute of last year's 2-2 draw vs. Chivas in the Homegrown game. Ferreira was a late addition to the team this season, replacing Dallas’ Reggie Cannon.
