FRISCO - In just four starts this season, Paxton Pomykal has made the MLS Team of the Week for a third time after Week 5.
Coming off his first two MLS goals against Real Salt Lake, the Homegrown midfielder finds himself among the week's best. Pomykal also had twice as many duels (20) as any Dallas player, made six tackles and won a game-high three fouls.
Just one month into the season, he has more than doubled his career minutes played total and stands to do the same in appearances in the coming weeks. It's shaping up to be the year of No. 19 in 2019.
