FRISCO, Texas – Having previously played through the Gold Cup, MLS was on a break from July 7-18. Although FC Dallas played in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal during that time, the players still found time to get away for a few days before reporting back to Frisco for training today.
So, how did some of your favorite players spend their mini-vacations? Thanks to social media, we got a sneak peek. Starting down on the sandy Baja shores of Los Cabos, Mexico, where Paxton Pomykal spent a few days.
And a couple hundred miles away, we find Mauro Díaz in Monterrey, Mexico. Among their mini excursions, he and his family explored the Grutas de Garcia, caves just northwest of the city.
Crossing the border back into the U.S., we head to the Jersey Shore, where the Chris Seitz and his family and some fun.
Meanwhile back in DFW, Reggie Cannon did some charitable work on behalf of the FC Dallas Foundation, benefitting the Salvation Army.
And Atiba Harris found himself back at Toyota Stadium, but this time, in the stands. He was able to take in the Gold Cup Group A Doubleheader.

Last, but certainly not least, Jesse Gonzalez spent his first day training with the U.S. Men's National Team.
