FRISCO — The USA U-20's came back in the second half of Tuesday's World Cup Round of 16 match against France and came away with a 3-2 win. FC Dallas midfielder Paxton Pomykal wore the captain's armband once again, and Brandon Servania started for the fourth-straight match as well.

The US opened up the scoring in the first half with a goal from Sebastian Soto in the 25th minute. The chance was created after Servania slid in for a tackle, freeing up space in the midfield for Richard Ledezma, who found Soto for the goal. France bounced back and scored two unanswered goals — one in the first half and one in the second — to give Les Bleus a 2-1 advantage.
Soto would go on to net another goal for a brace on the afternoon, and Justin Rennicks tapped in the game-winner in the 83rd minute to give USA the 3-2 victory. Both Pomykal and Servania played all 90 minutes of the match, proving to be two key players for Tab Ramos and the US.
